The Full Story

About Me

You know, I never actually thought my first career would be a hairstylist. As a kid you always imagine growing up to be a singer, ocean biologist, or even a therapist. But when my parents asked me the question, "What do you want to be?"

I never imagined that the answer would lead me here. Now let me fill you in on why I believe it was one of the best decisions of my life.

The Adventure

As a young entrepreneur and hairstylist, I’ve always lived life through a creative lens—firmly planted on the right side of the brain. I was never the kid who could breeze through math equations, but give me a sharpened pencil and I’d draw you a perfectly shaded human eye in the margins of my algebra test. Art, music, books—anything that invited imagination—became my world. I even managed to become a published author (although I don't like to brag) because I couldn't help myself from wanting to create something of my own, even on paper. I grew up dreaming of a thousand different futures, and oddly enough, none of them said “hairstylist” until I turned 18. That’s when I discovered a career that finally let me bring my artistic energy to life, creating something beautiful for others every day. But when I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me chasing the next adventure—whether it’s getting lost in the pages of a novel or hiking into the clouds on a mountain trail. I’m constantly learning, growing, and shaping the world around me as a young businesswoman with a free spirit and a big heart. Where it all leads? I’m not quite sure yet—but something tells me, it’s going to be something extraordinary.

The Team

I was only 15 when the salon first opened its doors in 2020. Back then, I had no idea I would one day become a hairstylist—I just knew the familiar faces around me as “my mom’s coworkers.” But over time, those faces became so much more. They became my tribe—a family of passionate, God-fearing individuals all chasing purpose, growth, and legacy. When I joined as an apprentice, I was the youngest one in the room, wide-eyed and full of questions. Everyone around me seemed so brilliant, so full of knowledge and fire, and I soaked up everything I could. Now, as a full-time stylist, it’s a gift to walk this journey beside them—to live in a space where science meets art, where creativity is alive, and where we continue to push each other to grow. We’ve shared laughter, tears, long talks, and quiet moments—building not just careers, but bonds that feel like home. I couldn’t ask for a better team to grow up with, and I will carry these friendships in my heart forever. We are more than coworkers—we are a family, and I love them deeply.

The Mentor

Starting my career as a hairstylist under my mom’s wing has been one of the most powerful chapters of my life. Growing up, she was simply “Momma”—the woman who held my hand, wiped my tears, fed my imagination, and made me believe the world was as kind and safe as her arms. But as I got older, I watched her transform. She became a business owner, a leader, and at one point, the breadwinner of our family. I’ve always had a strong female role model, but stepping into the salon as her apprentice revealed an entirely new side of her. She wasn’t just my mom anymore—she was a mentor, a master of her craft, a color magician who could see formulas and outcomes in her mind before the first drop of dye touched the hair. Watching her work was like watching an artist and scientist in one body, and I was in awe. At first, I felt the weight of her shadow, wondering how I’d ever rise to her level of skill, grace, and heart. But over time, something beautiful happened—we became more than just mother and daughter. We became teammates. Friends. She pushes me to grow, not just as a stylist, but as a woman finding her place in the world. Her guidance, paired with my own passion, has lit a fire in me I never saw coming. I know I still have so much to learn, but with her wisdom beside me and my own voice rising stronger each day, I truly believe I can take on anything. This is where I come from—and it’s just the beginning.
